This page explains what Wild Mirror collects, what gets stored, how shared links work, and how feedback is used.
What this app does
Wild Mirror asks a short set of questions and generates an AI-based personality reflection. The result is for personal reflection only. It is not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
Information we collect
We may collect the language you choose, the profile details you enter such as age range, location, profession, and context, your interview answers, the result generated for you, feedback such as "Feels like me" or "Not quite," and share-link metadata when you create a shared result.
How we use information
We use your inputs to generate your reflection, adapt the interview language and phrasing, store feedback analytics, and make share links work when you choose to create them.
Shared results
If you create a share link, we store the shareable result and link metadata so the link works. Shared links are intended to remain available for up to 30 days and then expire.
Feedback
If you tap a feedback button on the result page, we store that feedback with basic result details such as the result headline, metaphor, category, language, and a session identifier so we can measure which results feel accurate.
What is not stored permanently
Your raw profile inputs and interview answers are used to generate the result. They are not intended to be permanently stored just for browsing the app. For shared links, we store the shared result itself rather than the full interview transcript.
Third-party services
We use third-party infrastructure and AI services to run the product. This may include model providers for result generation, Redis or similar services for temporary shared-link storage, and PostgreSQL services for feedback records.
Retention
Shared-link data is retained for up to 30 days. Feedback records may be retained longer for product analysis and quality improvement unless we change or delete them as part of our operations.
Your choices
You can choose not to create a share link. You can also avoid submitting optional context, although that may make the result less tailored. If you do not want feedback stored, do not tap the feedback buttons.
Children
This app is not designed for children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13.
